What is Call diversion? There are two features you can use to divert or transfer calls: • - Simple to use; all you do is dial in a code directly on the phone line you want to divert. • - Has all the features of Call diversion, but also gives you an 'access number' giving you the ability to set up call divert remotely, from any phone or mobile within the UK, as well as most over sea's locations. It can also divert to 0800 numbers. Using Call diversion: • When Call diversion is set on a line, you'll notice a distinctive dial tone. You'll still be able to make outgoing calls in the normal way. • If you need to change the number that calls are diverted too, there's no need to cancel the divert, simply set up the new one. • If you've got Call Minder on the line, the intermittent dial tone will indicate there's a new message waiting and not that a divert has been set. • Diversion to the following international destinations isn't available: Bangladesh, Colombia, India, Kuwait, Lebanon, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies. For both call divert options, you'll need a touch tone phone, switched to tone dialling.
